Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Gift and eGift Cards expire 3 years from the date of issue, after which it will be invalid and any remaining balance will become the property of Michael Hill. Please treat this card like cash. Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced or refunded. Cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded, or used to buy another Gift or eGift Card. Redeemable in all Michael Hill Stores and online at www.michaelhill.com.au. No change will be given, but the balance may be applied to future purchases. Gift and eGift Cards can only be used to make purchases up to the initial Gift / eGift Card amount, or the remaining balance. If your purchase exceeds the balance on the Gift / eGift Card, you must pay the excess using another payment method. Goods purchased using a Gift / eGift Card are subject to Michael Hill’s exchange or returns policy. Where you are eligible for a refund, to the extent that you paid for goods using a Gift / eGift Card, you will be refunded by way of a new Gift / eGift Card. Gift / eGift Card amounts are issued in the currency of the country in which they are purchased (i.e. Gift / eGift Card issued in Australia are in Australian dollars). When you use your Gift card in Michael Hill stores, it can be used outside of country of purchase and will be converted to local currency at the time of purchase. Conversion is calculated using the daily rate from the Australian Customs website https://www.ccf.customs.gov.au/. When you use your Gift / eGift Card online, it can only be used on the Michael Hill website which corresponds with the country in which the Gift / eGift Card was purchased.
