What options do I have to create my ring?
You can design the perfect solitaire ring for you by choosing from a range of diamonds and settings from our exclusive Michael Hill Collections, including:
This includes choosing the colour and clarity grades of your diamond, as well as your carat weight, to achieve your ideal look. Then, choose the shade and carat of gold that you prefer, including yellow, rose, and white gold, in either 14ct or 18ct.
Our Ring Builder will take you through each step of the design process until your beautiful solitaire ring is complete.
Is my diamond certified?
If you choose a diamond from our Internally Flawless, The Solitaire by Michael Hill, Whitefire, Southern Star, or Evermore Collections, your diamond will come with a certification. This means you will receive a certificate that details your diamond’s characteristics (such as colour, clarity, and cut grades), as assessed by a gemmological laboratory.
Your ring will also have an engraved hallmark which will confirm its gold carat.
Does my ring come with a warranty?
Yes, your diamond ring will be covered by Michael Hill’s Lifetime Diamond Warranty. This warranty is our promise to you, and it means that in the unlikely event your diamond were ever to chip, break, or become lost from its setting, we’ll replace it free of charge. We also offer a Professional Care Plan. You can purchase our three-year or lifetime plan which covers ring resizing (on suitable styles), stone tightening, refinishing and polishing, inspections and cleaning, and more. Learn more.
Which ring sizes are available?
You can create your perfect engagement ring in sizes I – S (including half sizes).

I have designed my perfect ring! How do I purchase it?
Once you have finished designing and are viewing your completed ring, click Order and fill in your details on the form. One of our team members will then get in touch with you to arrange a Virtual Appointment at a time that suits you, during which they’ll assist you to arrange payment and to let you know what happens next.
Our payment options include PayPal, Credit Card, AliPay and WeChat Pay, as well as some credit plans. Our team will assist you further on your payment options during your Virtual Appointment.
If you’re not ready to purchase yet, you can also opt for a consultation at this stage. One of our team members will get in touch via Virtual Appointment to discuss your ring design, chosen setting and diamond, and answer any questions you might have.
Can I see my ring in person before I purchase?
Once you have confirmed and paid for your ring order, our manufacturing team in Brisbane, Australia will receive your design and start creating your ring.
Since your ring is handmade to order, you won’t be able to see your custom ring until it has been made and shipped to you. However, you can visit us in-stores to try on rings with similar settings and diamonds from our Collection range, to get an idea of how it will look.
How long will it take for my ring to arrive?
Your ring will be handmade with love by our in-house manufacturing team once we receive your design! It will then be shipped to you via standard registered post.
Please allow up to three weeks from the date of your payment confirmation for your ring to be delivered.
